We believe our future efforts should be concentrated on our Workplace suite (WPS) “container application”, our current WPS applications and building in additional features and applications.

All the WPS applications are written in Microsoft Dot net. We use Microsoft Sequel Server as our preferred database, the free express version is just fine and we have a superb in-built report designer (very similar to Sages).  

We have proved the core product (Workplace suite) over the last 18 months with a selection of customer multiuser sites and everyone is simply delighted.

We are also happy to specifically tailor a solution to fit your client’s exact needs offering you a further string to your bow.

We are looking to partner with about 30 active resellers to create a "select yet UK wide network of resellers.

There is no limit to the amount of influencers we seek, so please do contact us for further information.

Influencers 

Influencers can earn hansom introductory commission payments
 
Influencers we see as respected professionals who give impartial advice to their friends and or clients. An example of this would be consultants, accountants, bank managers, breakfast meeting colleagues etc. Some will be charging for their advice and others may give it without charge.

This of course includes Sage dealers who are happy to recommend software but do not want to increase their direct product portfolio. 

Our Registered Influencers package includes

  • Demonstration software to evaluate and show to interested parties
  • Introductory commission on the software that can be optionally passed onto the client.
  • Flexibility to select your preferred registered Bluestone dealer to install and support your client or to use Bluestones direct national services.
  • Regular updates on new features and new products
  • Introductions to free update meetings and training days
  • Free optional technical and sales training at our training centre near Worcester just off the M5 Junction 5
  • Telephone assistance to assess the suitability of a particular product.

Resellers

Resellers we see as businesses, actively selling business software and services. As a major proportion of our software integrates with Sage 50, Sage 200 and Act, Sage Resellers are the perfect fit.


We believe that we have a compelling Reseller offer;

Dealer Selection Criterion

Our dealer selection criterion is based on both parties, after initial discussions, knowing that they will make a good fit. This is likely to be the case for respected Sage dealers looking for established products to add to their portfolio.


Dealer Geographic Areas

We are not creating restrictions on where any dealer may sell within the UK as we are looking for national coverage. We envisage that most dealers will make many sales within about an hour of their offices but may well have national customers too.


Residual Income

Most of our applications are sold with either Software Support or with our Support Extra.

Support Extra is the most popular as it is worry free with no future upgrades costs when they move to newer versions of Sage and they know that they will get telephone support too, all for one monthly fee.

If you become a Bluestone software dealer you have the option to offer first tier support to your customer. We will supply you with second tier support and updates, we then share the income with you.

For dealers who are not interested in providing support we are prepared to offer first tier support.

Getting to know the Products

Each of the products has a specification sheet and a download on our web site, www.bluestonecomputing.co.uk .

We are arranging introduction opportunities in areas near you over the coming months but we are also happy to talk you through a demonstration using remote access.


Training

Some of our simpler utilities and packages can be learnt quickly probably only needing a little guidance over the phone, but the majority of the short training course.

The courses are held at our training centre and are currently being offered at a heavily subsidised rate of just £150 per product for up to three delegates. On-site training is available with reasonable additional expenses being charged.


Tailoring and additions to the Software

Many of our customers have requested small tweaks / changes to the software to make it a perfect fit.

We are very happy to continue this practice and we consider each situation based on the requested changes;

Some changes are made free of charge if we feel that they should be in a market winning product.

Some are subsidised by us as they add value and depth to the overall product.

Some will be very particular to your client and they will probably very happy to pay to have a near bespoke solution.
