The role is to actively assist in increasing the market penetration of our business software. Our software solutions, created by our in-house development team, are targeted at small to medium sized business. We have a growing number of applications that offer our customers huge efficiency gains when processing customer orders and enquires, whilst also delivering a highly effective customer service. Many of the solutions integrate with Sage software, therefore some accounts software experience would be an advantage.
Training
After comprehensive training on our software, the successful applicant will help identify potential markets, contribute to the generation of strategies to penetrate these prospective areas and then assist in their ongoing growth. Although we see this primarily as an office based position, part of the role will be helping to create and maintain a dealer network. This and other sales activities may involve some optional, mainly UK, travel with occasional nights away (Fully expense paid.) Qualifications
We have no formal qualification requirements. We put the person and their proven skills before an academic qualification. We do however hold academic qualifications in high regard. We expect the successful candidate to be proficient in every day use of normal business desktop software that runs on the Microsoft platform. A full UK driving licence would be an advantage although we are on a main bus route. We offer a competitive pro-rata salary based on experience. This means that you can have a child at school without need of the additional worry and expense of child care. Each arrangement is designed around your particular circumstances but is generally as profiled below; You drop at school and then come on to us being ready to start at say 9:30 If your child needs you, you drop everything and go, hours can be made up later or optionally deducted. You finish normally at say 1:30 giving you enough time to get to school to pick-up You only work school days and have the same holidays as schools We pay just as if you worked at a school which is every month. This is calculated by working out the total full days that you will work over a calendar year, apply the pro-rata rate and then dividing this over the 12 months.
