Overview

You are one or more of the following;

You may place, some stock orders with your suppliers and are maybe given an estimated shipping date but place many purchase orders to directly satisfy specific customer orders.

You may not have an absolute stock code for every item resold and use a colour, size, finish on the description to describe the items wanted.

You may not have any stock code at all for the items you are reselling.

The orders can be delivered to your central warehouse and / or directly to your customer.

Your customers place orders knowing that you may supply, based on ordering in from your suppliers but that you may also be carrying some stock. In most cases they probably do not care too much either way as long as they get their order on-time.

Your customers normally expect delivery of their order within the specified delivery time but quite often want and expect it much quicker.

You may have to raise many purchase orders to satisfy one customer order. You may have a group of order items to place on a supplier that may fulfil many customer orders.

Customer order progressing enquiries may take along time to answer. Collation and picking of orders may cause you some issues. Back orders may also be a problem to you and your team.

Who is it for?

You are a reseller and or stockist of other supplier’s products.

As and when published by your suppliers you need to be able to maintain the product descriptions, cost and selling prices.

You could be a stationary supplier with accounts with Spicer and or Kingfield Heath.

A Tools and Fixings stockist, Motor Factor etc

 

What Problem Does Code Red Solve?

You have one or more suppliers, at least one of which has a large product range.

You want these ranges in your Sage 50 products module and need to be able to easily update these items as and when your suppliers send you updates.

You need to be able to amend the product description cost and sale price in one simple import.

If duplicate codes are encountered you want this automatically resolved

You may need to manipulate the data to enable it to be imported into Sage 50

If you grow into Sage 200 you want an upgrade path.
